Meet Amanda

Amanda Farahany, managing partner at Barrett & Farahany (B&F), has led the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into plaintiff-side employment law. Committed to innovation and ethical representation, Amanda has spearheaded legal technology advancements at her firm for 26 years. Starting as a solo practitioner all those years ago, Barrett & Farahany has grown to be a power-house in Labor and Employment law. Now with 17 attorneys on staff, practicing in eight states, the Atlanta based firm takes on complex employment cases, never afraid to go to trial to win justice for their clients. 

Over the years, the firm has established itself as a leader in plaintiff law, bringing new legislation to Congress, and working to change employment policy locally and nationally.

Amanda saw AI's potential to augment various aspects of her practice, from administrative tasks to key legal casework. This functionality allows our teams to collaborate more efficiently, reducing the need to manually relay information. It even helps lawyers’ transitions into and out of the firm– helping ramp up any team member–and get them to add strategic value to the case as quickly as possible. 

In collaboration with Eve's team, B&F has developed specific “playbooks” for key employment law scenarios, turning existing firm preferences into repeatable processes - allowing lawyers to do work their own way - for example drafting documents in their own tone and style.

B&F has reported a significant reduction in time spent on initial drafts and document reviews, allowing attorneys to focus more on high-level strategy and client interaction. 

"On average, Eve has saved our attorneys over 20 hours per week managing tasks like discovery, and decreased discovery response times from 10 to 20 hours down to 30 to 45 minutes."

"For any case heading to trial, this means that each lawyer can spend their time developing the trial strategy, working on witness examinations and depositions, and crafting legal arguments, both as a team and independently."
